Join the Sacred Heart Track and Field Family

The Sacred Heart Track Team welcomes all parish boys and girls participating in CCD and Sacred Heart School in the grades K-8 to sign up. There are no tryouts, everyone competes! Running events include 50M, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, & relays. Field events include long jump, broad jump, softball throw, shot put and javelin (new/exhibition).

Practices are held twice per week at the Lyndhurst County Park. 

Track meets take place in Bayonne, Clark, and Bloomfield. Each season, the team participates in Olympic Spirit meets, CYO Olympic Spirit Championship meet, and CYO Championship meet. Our team does very well in these competitions by medaling in their running events. All the children have a great time. The registration to join our Track and Field team in the Spring will be posted by March on the Thursday folder.
