Religion: St. Nicholas Day, Advent week 1 – Hope

On Friday, December 6th, we will celebrate St. Nicholas Day. In some countries, children leave shoes out on December 5th (St. Nicholas Eve) to be filled with presents such as cookies, candy, and coins which they can wake up to find on December 6th (St. Nicholas Day). We will continue the tradition in our classroom, and we will be leaving shoes to see what we will get on St. Nicholas Day. We are in the process of making our shoe.

Friday – 12/06 – Half day of school – dismissal 11:45 AM- Aftercare will be open

Tuesday – 12/10 – Santa will visit Small Blessings

Thursday – 12/12 – Christmas show at 9:15 AM. All families are invited 

Thursday – 12/19 – PreK-3 class party

Friday –  12/20 Pj, movie day – early dismissal – aftercare will be closed
