Our focus for the week of 12/11– 12/15:

Reading: “A Bed For Winter” – sight words (he, for, white, pink) , beginning/middle sound Ii, sequence, classify.

Phonics: Beginning sounds Yy, Zz.

Writing: Write sentences

Math: Numbers 1-10

Religion:   Advent Week 2 Peace.  This candle reminds us that the angels declared “peace on earth” at the birth of Jesus.

Social Studies: Children will identify ways to travel over the holidays.

Science: What animals need to survive.

Reminders:

Monday 12/11 – K-1 visits Santa Shoppe. Please fill out form sent home with shopping list and place money in envelope with child’s name on it.

Tuesday 12/19 – 9a.m. Santa visits Small Blessings, students only. Dress for santa pictures, no uniforms.

Wednesday 12/20 – K-1 Christmas Party, students only. Ugly christmas sweater day, no uniform.

Thursday 12/21 – PJ movie day cookies and milk. Early dismissal 11:55am, NO AFTERCARE. Wear pjs, no slippers.
