Spelling - Write long a words 2 times...Test Thursday

IXL - Language Arts - Skill R - short and long vowel patterns Work on skill 1 - Match the short a and long a words to the correct picture. I will check in the morning to see each child's practice. This is part of their homework. It is not optional.

Please read the 2 papers I sent home today - one on important information and the second one on the 100th day.

Tomorrow your child will come home with a spelling list for the Spelling Bee. There are 2 pages - Grade 1 & Grade 2. Each teacher holds a spelling bee in their classroom using those words. Two finalists are chosen from each class and will participate on stage during Catholic Schools Week. The classroom spelling bee will be held next week.
