6B Reminders: Week of March 3rd-7th

Hi 6B Parents and Students!

This week is a busy week! We are celebrating our love of reading the whole week with Read Across America Week and our Spring Scholastic Book Fair.

Monday. March 3rd - "Crazy Hat/Hair Day" students may wear their hair in unique ways or put on a wacky hat over their school uniform. Last day for Gertrude Hawk orders and to send in your T-Shirt orders for Mickey's Kids Charitable Foundation. If you need the t-shirt order form, it can be found on the Thursday Folder.

Tuesday, March 4th - "Crazy Sock Day" student may wear their wackiest socks with their school uniform. The 6th graders are also going to the Scholastic Book Fair at 8:15 am this day so please send in money for them, either cash, a check written out to Sacred Heart School or set-up your e-wallet at https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/sacredheartschool31

Wednesday, March 5th - Ash Wednesday, school mass at 9:00 am. "Color Day" students in 6th grade are assigned the color black so they are to wear a black shirt or top (tag day clothes with black shirt/top).

Thursday, March 6th - "Pajama Day" students wear pajamas to school with sneakers, no slides or slippers allowed.

Friday, March 7th - "Oh the Places You'll Go" students wear a shirt of a place they have visited or been to. Last day for Spring Scholastic Book Fair and the end of Trimester 2. It is a Half-Day of school with Dismissal at 12:00 noon, Aftercare is available.

Saturday, March 8th - Set your clocks 1 hour forward on Saturday night, in preparation for the start of Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, March 9th.
