The Sacred Heart School Home School Association (HSA) is comprised of a dedicated group of parents who run events and fund raisers to benefit our school.
Like most private schools, Sacred Heart cannot rely on tuition alone to cover our operating costs. Our HSA provides vital support in maintaining our school building and enhancing educational opportunities for each of our students.
Sacred Heart parent volunteers organize and participate in countless programs each year, ranging from magazine, stationery and candy sales to the Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Labels for Education programs.
These efforts are extremely successful and make a real difference in the lives of our students.
The HSA meets several times a year and elections to the executive board are held once a year.
There are many opportunities to get involved. We need your help to make them happen!
To keep tuition competitive and reasonable, yet still provide our students with the best that is available: the best teachers, the best tools, the best environment to be successful.
In order to reach this goal, we rely on varied fund-raising venues. In addition to the nuts and bolts operating expenses vital to running the school, in the past year fund-raising efforts produced the beautiful refurbishing of the gym floor, brand-new energy efficient windows in the gym and new security doors in the back of the school. $12,230 for the floor restoration, $20,130 for the windows and screens and $3,680 for the doors.
We are expanding opportunities so that family, friends, neighbors and the local community can contribute to Sacred Heart’s fund-raising efforts by simply shopping where they normally shop. Even your family and friends who live outside NJ can effortlessly contribute to SHS by using our Web site to do their shopping.
