Cross Country Track

Sacred Heart School offers Cross-Country Track in the Fall. We welcome boys and girls to participate who are part of Sacred Heart School and CCD for grades 3 – 8. There are no tryouts, everyone competes. We focus on proper running form, endurance, and speed.

Practices are held twice per week at the Lyndhurst County Park (across from Lee’s Hawaiian). Track meets take place in Bayonne, Clark, and Bloomfield.

Each season, team participates in Olympic Spirit meets, CYO Olympic Spirit Championship meet, CYO Championship meet. Our team does very well in these competitions by medaling in their running events. All the children have a great time. The registration to join our Fall Cross-Country Track team is in August.
