Parents, please note that the whole school will be attending Mass tomorrow to celebrate All Saint’s Day. This is a 7th grade-led Mass, so a few students have been chosen to read. We also made a large poster dedicated to different saints that will be on display in the Church. Several students volunteered/were asked to read a small paragraph about their saint after Mass.
I know tomorrow is a dress down day, but please be mindful of the fact that we will be in Church. Please dress appropriately.
Thank you!
Mrs. Miles
A BIG thank you to the 7B class moms, Mrs. Mays and Mrs. Uykan, for organizing the Halloween Party today! From the cupcakes to the pretzels from Philly’s Pretzel Factory to all the drinks – everything was delicious!
Thank you to all other parents who sent in additional treats and drinks!! The candy salad was a big hit and gone in minutes. I greatly appreciate all the support. We definitely had a fun day!
I hope everyone has a great night. Be safe! Happy Halloween!
Mrs. Miles
The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. Grades 5-8 will be going to the Church tomorrow morning to pray a Living Rosary together at 8:30am. Our 7th & 8th graders, along with a few 6th graders, will be leading the prayers while all other students will be joining in to respond. If you/your child has rosary beads at home, please make sure they bring them to school tomorrow. I have a few extra for students that don’t have any.
Thank you!
7th Grade Religion – Friday, 10/4 – Chapters 3 & 4 Test (I know it is a half day, but I’m confident they will have enough time to finish.)
8th Grade Religion – Thursday, 10/3 – Chapters 2 & 3 Test
Good Morning,
Just a few reminders/announcements:
Most of the students in 7B have completed the fall MAP test. Absent students will have an opportunity to make it up when they return.
I hope you all had a wonderful summer break! It was a great first day with the students in my 7B homeroom, as well as the students in Mr. Puzio’s 7A homeroom.
