Welcome Back - Supplies

Hi… Welcome to Kindergarten…My name is Ms. Ferrara soon to be Mrs. Nikolayew because I will be getting married in September… I’m looking  forward to a great school year with your children. I have been a Kindergarten teacher for over 20 years. I can’t wait to meet your children and begin our fun-filled school year together. It’s going to be a terrific atmosphere full of excitement and learning.  I am so very excited to welcome our incoming Kindergarten class of 2023!     Below is the Kindergarten supply list for the 2022-2023 school year. This year will be a year to remember….

1. Book Bag (labeled with name)
2. Lunch box (labeled with name) NO METAL LUNCHBOX OR METAL WATER BOTTLE
3. Art Box ( Plastic container ) Labeled with your child’s name on it

*2 boxes of Crayola Crayons Box of 24 count( labeled)

*1 box of Thick/ Jumbo Ticonderoga pencils for writing.( Not thin ones..)

* 10 count of Washable Crayola Markers

* Erasers (2 Large ones)

* A 4 pack of Large glue sticks ( NO Liquid glue)

* 1 pair of kids scissors

5. An old t shirt or smock labeled (this will be used in case we paint)

6. An extra change of clothes (shirt, pants, underwear and socks) Please place in a large

ziplock bag labeled with your child’s name on it.

7.  4 large rolls of Paper Towels, 4 boxes of tissues, 2 boxes of baby wipes , 2 bottles of

Lysol spray and 2 packages of disinfectant Clorox wipes

8. 2 reams of white copy paper

9. $10.00 fee for Weekly Reader and extra readers for the classroom due on Monday Sept.12th in a labeled envelope.

10. A pair of headphones( WITH WIRE) labeled in a ziplock bag for use in computers.

11. 1 Family photo , individual child photo and a pet photo.. Please label in a ziplock bag or envelope.
