Our focus for the week of 10/07 – 10/11

Reading: “Miss Bindergarten Takes a Field Trip with Kindergarten” – high frequency words (is, the, little, blue, yellow) Letters (Tt-Zz), classify, setting, characters.

Phonics: Beginning sounds (Ii, Rr)

Math: Geometry 2D/3D shapes (cylinder, cone, sphere, cube, rectangular prism).

Religion:  God Gives Us The Land.

Social Studies:  Fire Prevention / Christopher Columbus

Science:  Pumpkins/ Pumpkin life cycle

REMINDERS:

MONDAY 10/7 – Firehouse visits Pk and K at Sacred Heart School. Students only.

TUESDAY 10/8 – K-1 attends Book Fair. Please send money in an envelope with your child’s name on it.

WEDNESDAY  10/9  – Kindergarten class trip to Secor Farms. 

MONDAY  10/14 – Columbus Day school closed.

WEDNESDAY  10/16 – School closed teacher professional day.
