Sacred Heart School offers exceptional educational programs for students in grades PreK-3 through Eight. Our teachers—all of whom are state certified—provide a strong academic foundation that challenges students to excel.

At Sacred Heart School, we’re proud that:

• Our students routinely score in the top 20 percent on national standardized tests— well above area public schools and the national average for all Catholic schools.
• Our graduates are accepted to some of the area’s most selective private high schools, including St. Peter’s Preparatory School, Lacordaire Academy, Seton Hall Preparatory School, Immaculate Heart Academy, Don Bosco Preparatory School, and Immaculate Conception High School—many with scholarships. In addition, Sacred Heart alumni also gain acceptance to leading public high schools such as Bergen Tech in Bergen County and High Tech High School in Hudson County.

Sacred Heart offers more than 10 extracurricular activities—from art and chess to the performing arts and yoga—as well as sports including basketball, volleyball, track, golf, and tennis.

We are among an elite group of elementary schools accredited by the Middle States Commission on
 Elementary Education and operates under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Newark.
